Somehow people think that what they are going through is unique, that their pain is special somehow.
It's not.
Look around you: while the situation may be different, others have gone through their own struggles; thinking yours is somehow more important or more difficult than theirs only isolates yourself. Take strength in knowing you're never alone.

No pain is special. Loss is loss. Longing after what once was is a circular path and the greatest disaster. About the past you don’t regret and I agree that there is no reason to. I don’t either however there are times when the past is hard to forget. Once, my soul was literally torn apart from my body (as far as I could understand.) I felt the most peaceful enthrallment as I was carried from the earth to a plane void of pain or consequence. I was encapsulated with the absolute feeling of Gods embrace. I was almost gone (as far as I could tell) but apparently my purpose wasn’t done yet. As I woke up in a hospital bed it really did make most of my notions clearer.
ReplyDeleteI don’t forsake life or anybody who pursues their own aspirations. Life is meant to be lived and no matter how many times I fall I will not stop. We all are adjoined to common themes, falters, disgrace, movement, inspiration, exhalations, atoms, molecules and the most common bond of our human imperfections. No lesson is ever lost, no lesson is ever found if one admits that the meaning of life is beyond their comprehension. There is too much to learn and even more places to get lost in.
I write because I have to. I write devoid of recognition. You draw in the most expressive display because your’ muse flows freely. Your’ soul is a sure-fire display of artistic aesthetics and even when you fall you will not stop. To succumb to the harsh realities of life is not your way. You are weathered, you are experienced, you are pretty and better expressed within education and the graphite’s beauty.
As for today I am taking trails. Looking towards the future because I cannot fail. Whatever I am, I don’t know. My words breed truth and I’m not sure I said anything. I am not special; I am not consequence. I’m merely a poet no longer trapped by fate yet seething faith.
